Son Rise

The first-born son of George H. W. and Barbara Bush always sat directly behind his parents at the conventions and inaugurations leading up to his father’s presidency. By the 1997 dedication of  George H. W. Bush’s presidential library, the metamorphosis of Texas Governor George W. Bush from prodigal son to presidential contender was complete.
